In the nearly two years I spent at the Alexandria office of Corcoran McEnearney (formerly McEnearney Associates), I designed a huge variety of print and digital marketing materials for a large percentage of the office's over 120 realtors.
Projects ranged from brochures and direct mail, to social media and email marketing, to agent branding and advertising. I learned a lot about marketing listings, working with a large client base, preparing materials for print, and creating different client identities within a larger brand.
In the middle of my time there, McEnearney Associates affiliated with the Corcoran Group to become Corcoran McEnearney. Through this change, I was able to learn the ropes of a new brand and help our agents transition their visual identities from one brand to the other.
This page contains a variety of materials I designed during my time with the company.
Brochures
I was responsible for creating the listing brochure templates for our office, combining the materials provided by Corcoran corporate with the needs of our agents. The templates I created allowed our office to streamline the brochure process, allowing my team to focus our time on more creative projects. I also worked with specific agents to create templates that worked for them and their properties. Below, you can see a variety of brochures I made during my time there.
Direct Mail Postcards
One of the most common ways in which realtors get the word out about their business and their listings is through direct mail postcards. The following are examples of a few custom direct mail pieces I designed for our agents.
Major Specialty Mailers
In addition to designing direct mail postcards for our agents, I also worked with some of our agents in to create special mail pieces to recap their years, look towards the next, and update their clients on their business.
Biweekly Newspaper Ad
Soon after starting at McEnearney Associates, I took on the responsibility of our biweekly ad in the Alexandria & Mount Vernon Gazettes. Putting this ad together involved reaching out to agents throughout the entire company to collect listings to advertise and managing content for the 9-12 listings included in the ad. Upon our affiliation with Corcoran, I redesigned the ad template to fit with our new brand.
Social Media
Social media, especially Instagram is central to realtors' ability to market themselves. See below for a collection of graphics I designed for individual agents and for the company as a whole.
Agent Branding & Event Marketing
One of my favorite parts of my job at Corcoran McEnearney was being able to create visual identities for our agents within the greater company brand. In this section, you can see some examples of custom branding pieces I designed to help agents differentiate themselves while staying within the corporate brand.
First, here is a logo and mini trifold buyer guide I created for one of our agents.
Many of our agents would connect with their client base with pop-by gifts. The following images are examples of tags I made to accompany these gifts.
I also worked with agents to market events for their clients. Below, I have included a variety of marketing materials and invites I designed for these events.
Before joining Corcoran, our agents were able to have customized sliders on their websites. Below is a series of website sliders I did for one of our agents, combining her brand with that of the company.
Corporate Projects
In addition to working on projects for the agents in the Alexandria office, I also worked on a few corporate projects during my time with Corcoran McEnearney. Below is a greeting card I designed to highlight the company's partnership with Simone Massoni and an ad I designed for the back of Alexandria Living Magazine.
